Render protects and transforms walls. We apply internal and external render in Cardiff and the surrounding area, using sand-and-cement, lime, silicone and acrylic systems.
Choosing a render
Sand and cement is hard-wearing and economical on modern masonry. Lime is breathable and suits older solid-wall buildings. Silicone and acrylic thin-coat finishes come in a wide range of colours and are often applied over a base coat and mesh.
Preparation matters
Good rendering starts with sound walls, correct beads and stops, damp-proof detail and suitable weather. We look at the substrate before recommending a system.
Internal render
Internal render is used as a base for tiling, in utility spaces or as a hard-wearing wall finish.
Areas we cover for rendering
We take on rendering work across Cardiff and around 25 miles from the city centre, including Penarth, Barry, Caerphilly, Newport, Pontypridd and Cowbridge. See all the areas we cover.
Frequently asked questions
How long does render last?
It depends on the system, exposure and maintenance. We discuss expected lifespan and care when quoting.
Can you render over painted brick?
Sometimes, with the right preparation. We assess the wall first.
